See what is happening this month in Children's Ministry
Children are important to Jesus, and they are an important part of life at Northside. On Sunday mornings, children come together for prayer, worship through music, and Bible-based lessons. After we worship together, we break into small groups. Our small groups are available for preschool children through 5th grade as we learn together about God’s love for us. Our children’s groups are divided by age:
Each class has welcoming, qualified teachers that provide age-appropriate activities for children. We currently use the Orange curriculum, First Look for preschoolers and the 252 Basics for children, to teach about God’s love for us through Jesus Christ. We want to provide children with a foundation to understand more about salvation and how they can put their faith in Jesus.
Every 5th Sunday of the month (4 times/year), children engage in worship with their families upstairs in the sanctuary. We know the importance of teaching worship by example and the vital role parents have in modeling that for their children. We have annual, seasonal events as well:
We welcome you and your family to Northside!
