Compassion Box

Creatively meeting community needs

In 2018, Melissa Brown, a Northside partner, had an idea for how the church could live out our value of Compassion. Melissa worked with a friend to build a Compassion Box (the first of its kind in Knightdale).

Northside's Compassion Box is located near the First Avenue/Sycamore Street entrance. The box (cabinet) is meant to provide non-perishable food items and toiletries to individuals who have an immediate need. Take what you need, give what you can and share the word if you know of someone who needs a little boost.

Here are some ideas for items that you can donate to the Blessing Box:
