It’s not simply about adding another spiritual activity to our calendars or finding another way to demonstrate our faith. It’s about the place Jesus holds in our hearts. Does Jesus have all of our affection - not just our Sundays, our service, or our resources, but all of us?

MISSION STATEMENT
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
ABOUT
For over 50 years, Samaritan’s Purse has done our utmost to follow Christ’s command by going to the aid of the world’s poor, sick, and suffering. We are an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, earns us a hearing for the Gospel, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS MONTH
October is a month reserved for scares, but you know what's truly scary? A world without God. In October we're talking about repentance and redemption. We're talking about His kingdom and what happens to those who reject it.
This leads to our biggest event the last Sunday in October our forth annual Goofball!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR GUEST SERVICES
We’re excited to be making room for more people by adding a third service! As we grow, we need more volunteers to serve with Guest Services Team. Will you help us make room?
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR TRIANGLE BUSINESS FAIR
The Triangle Children's Business Fair (at Knightdale Station Park) is looking for volunteers to help with setup from 7 - 8 AM. Volunteers will help set up tents and arrange tables.
CHURCH WORKDAY
Join us for a Church Work Day at 9:00 AM as we work together to care for our church home. There are projects for everyone, including general cleaning, vacuuming, painting touch-ups, and other light maintenance tasks.
ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY
One of the ways we at Northside support our community is by adopting First Avenue. Can you help us clean it up after the 11:00am service (12:30pm)? We'll serve pizza before going out!
*Must be 16 years old to participate.
FOSTER PARENT INTEREST MEETING
Could you make a difference in the life of a child?
Join us Thursday, November 5, from 6:30–8:00 p.m. for a Foster Parent Interest Meeting at Northside Community Church.
Learn about the need for foster parents in Wake County, what fostering looks like, and ways you can support children and families in foster care.
Everyone is welcome, and there’s no commitment or pressure—just come, learn, ask questions, and prayerfully consider your next step.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD BEGINS
Since 1993, God has used Samaritan’s Purse to deliver Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts to children in need. Shoeboxes are available in the Welcome Lobby and are due back by November 8.
