Facilities Team
———
Maintaining a clean and welcoming campus requires a lot of behind-the-scenes work of many Facilities Team volunteers. These volunteers continually review, repair, and improve our facilities and campus. Time commitment is variable.
Volunteer Roles:
- Maintenance and Repair Specialist: Volunteers assist in hands-on repair work around the facilities and campus. This could include anything from painting and power washing to building storage shelves. Volunteers also take turns for monthly maintenance walkthroughs. No professional experience required, though handyman skills are a plus.
- Environment Control Specialist: Volunteers serve to follow up with additional cleaning beyond what the contract custodial service takes care of weekly. They also assist with organizational needs in storage spaces around campus. This role is very flexible and can be adapted to the availability of the volunteer. No prior experience is necessary.
Open Spots:
- Always accepting volunteers
