AT NORTHSIDE
THIS WEEK

Even when God seems silent, hope has been present from the very beginning. God had not forgotten His people. He had not abandoned His promises. His plan was simply unfolding in ways they could not yet see.
We hope you’ll join us this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:45 a.m. as we begin the season of Advent with a powerful reminder that hope has always been here—and always will be.

Did you know that there are 156 million unchurched people in the U.S. alone and 47% of those are open to being invited to attend. At Northside, we believe church planting is an act of obedience to the Great Commission in Matthew 28. The need is urgent because Jesus is coming back and the number of churches in America right now is declining at the same time that our population is increasing.
The Advent Christian General Conference, in partnership with our churches, is committed to church planting. Last year, Northside planted our first church - Redemption Community Church in Clayton. Please be in prayer for Redemption Community Church, Pastor Daniel Karl and the congregation as they continue to grow in the Clayton community.

The Christian Veterinary Mission team is looking for volunteers to be part of the team for next year's mission trips. No animal experience is required! Did God give you the gift to talk to people? To spend time with children doing crafts? To pray for the people we serve? And if you want to help hands on with the animals, CVM will help you do that too! If you are interested or have any questions, you can email Dr. Page Wages by clicking on the link below.

Help serve those in need in our community by helping us stock our Compassion Box! For the month of November, we are stocking up on packaged sides: instant mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, rice. You can also purchase items directly from our Amazon Wishlist by clicking the link below.

Stop by the Coffee Bar in the Welcome Lobby to grab a bag with a shopping list attached. Take the bag with you on your next trip to the grocery store and fill it with some (or all) of the items listed. Bring your filled bag back to church the following Sunday, and we’ll make sure it goes to someone in need through our Compassion Box ministry. Thank you for your generosity and support!

If you missed the Ministry Fair and are still interested in learning more about our Ministries and serve opportunities, check out our new "Ministries" wall right outside of the Sanctuary. There are cards for you to take with information about each ministry and how you can get plugged in to serve!
