AT NORTHSIDE
THIS WEEK
When we experience holy discontent, we can have hope that God will use us in powerful ways to accomplish His good work. We hope you'll join us this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:45 am as we start our new series in Nehemiah and explore the "holy discontent" that God brings about in our lives.
Rise Against Hunger is a non-profit organization driven by the reality that hunger impacts everything. They nourish lives through meal packaging events, respond to emergencies with in-need resources and empower communities to stand strong through training for self-sustainability.
Rise Against Hunger targets remote, last-mile communities within hunger pockets designated “serious” or higher on the Global Hunger Index, which are the hardest places to reach and are often difficult to access, lack communication and have poor infrastructure. With the support of our global impact partners, they practice locally-led development by providing expertise vital to empower local communities and providing meals through local schools to incentive attendance and enable kids to obtain an education. Their work starts with a meal.
Northside Students meet on the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month from 5:30-7:30 pm, on the second and fourth Sunday of each month we share a meal together and meet from 5:00-7:30 pm.

Since Northside's inception, we have set aside one Sunday where we invite all those who consider Northside their church home to give a financial gift above and beyond their normal level of giving. All sacrificial gifts given on Chest of Joash Sunday will be going towards the Building Fund for future worship space expansion.
Northside Students will be heading to Fort Caswell for a youth conference gathering this Fall. We could use financial support to ensure all students who want to attend can go. Any amount is greatly appreciated! To sponsor a student, you can click below to give online and select “Scholarships” from the drop-down menu and then for the Sub Fund drop-down menu select “Youth Trip Scholarships”
