Northside Compassion Project Team

The Northside Compassion Project (NCP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that functions as a missional outreach of Northside Community Church. Through NCP, we engage and support our community in a variety of ways with the love of Jesus.
Volunteer Roles:
- Compassion Box Restock Volunteer: Processes incoming donations and assists with restocking Northside's onsite Compassion Box during an assigned shift once per week.
- Compassion Box Restock Volunteer Substitute: Processes incoming donations and assists with restocking Northside's onsite Compassion Box as needed.
- Pot of Gold 5K: Each March, NCP sponsors the Pot of Gold 5K. This is the largest fundraiser for NCP. Tasks include packet preparation, pre-race packet pickup, distributing packets on race day, checking in participants, race day event setup, and assistance with various race day tasks.
- Panera Bread Outreach (weekly): Tasks include:
- Helping with the pick-up rotation of baked goods from Panera Bread (Fridays at closing, 9:00 p.m.)
- Working with Northside Compassion Box leadership to help package bread for the Compassion Box
- Delivering bread donations to Shady Acres as needed (deliveries take place on Sundays or Mondays)
