In addition to our in-house ministries, Northside Community Church helps support many other ministries. We're involved in the work God is doing locally, nationally, and globally. Below is the full list of ministries and ministry organizations we support.

Ministry Spotlight

Ministry Training Institute (MTI)

Ministry Training Institute is a ministry certificate program designed to equip those looking to serve their local church wh strong biblical and leadership foundations. It provides theological formation for the church and through the church through distance learning. There are several different programs ranging from 1 to 3 years of study.

The program is designed to form the whole person, concerning ourselves not only with simple knowledge transfer. Instead, our program is designed to engage the HEAD, cultivate the HEART and steady the HANDS. This has resulted in a program that not only consists of course work, but also employs intentional mentoring and intentional ministry service as core tenets. Students will also engage in personal assessments, independent study projects and several other activities throughout the program, designed to aid them in clarifying calling and equipping them fully for that calling.

MTI’s vision is to see churches equipped with wise and theologically formed Christian leaders to who serve their families, ministries, and communities in accordance with the mission of God.

Ministry Spotlight

Berkshire Institute for Christian Studies (BICS)

BICS offers a unique learning experience for emerging adults. They provide a year of spiritual formation and academic instruction for high school graduates. The BICS experience is designed to ground students in the truth of God’s Word, to cultivate their Christian growth through community, and to encourage ordered living according to the wisdom of God. A year spent at BICS is a year invested in serious spiritual and life development.

One of the key ingredients in the program is community. For nine months the students are embedded in the life of a local church, fully embraced by the faculty and staff, and knit together as brothers and sisters in Christ. These relationships form the heart of the Institute and create the ideal environment for the ongoing redemption of both heart and mind.
